Have just moved from annesley where the care was excellent the surgery advised me to use the Calvert on practice today I was met by friendly smiling receptionist the doctor took time to listen made me feel that they care and that alone makes you feel better not an easy job just hope they realise how much I appreciate there care
My problem with this practice is Dr Rayners policy on patients paying for prescriptions. It’s only now I’ve moved ive realised how much he rips patients off with prescriptions. Made me pay monthly for my HRT. A necessity. I get 6 months now for one prescriptions cost. He wrote to a consultant once and told him he was ripping off the NHS by him trying to give me the most cost effective way of getting necessary medication. I don’t understand why he is so money grabbing. It’s disgusting.
From the Receptionist through to to the Pharmacist Nurses Drs everyone is so caring and helpful I cant recommend them enough especially in these difficult times. Thank you
In 18yrs I have seen many GP's at the surgery and they are all professional, helpful and you feel comfortable seeing them. Recently when I saw Dr Walters unfortunately this was not the case. Dr Walters was unnecessarily rude and impolite to me and from the sound of a one sided phone conversation he did not seem very polite to staff either. Maybe Dr Walters would benefit from observing one of the Practice partners for his Values and Behaviours education.
I cannot rate Dr Hopkinson and the girls on reception highly enough, as I have a few chronic illnesses I tend to see/speak to the Dr more frequently than I would like. He's very professional, caring and got a good sense of humour and he will listen to what I have to say not just shrug you off which I have found with some locums. The only suggestion I could make is for the community to be a bit more understanding towards Drs/nurses as they are overworked and underpayed for what they do. We all moan at the state of the NHS but to be honest where would we be without it ? I for 1 would be in trouble so thanks for all the help over the past few years
